Behind on Bloggin'

I am so behind on bloggin'. So what has everyone been up to? It was such a beautiful day out today and I didn't even get to go riding on my motorcycle. That bites a big one!! I went to to my second lazer hair removal treatment today. It hurt like heck, but it will be well worth it when I don't have to shave my legs anymore. I then spent about 3 1/2 hrs on the road driving to take my oldest daughter to her dad's because his vehicle broke down. That just totally ruined my day. I hope to get some stuff down tomorrow.

Simply Southern Scrapbook Convention

I will be headed to SSSC tomorrow evening to TA one class then head back home. Then I have to be back Friday morning for classes all day and then again on Saturday. I am actually staying in a hotel these two nights though. I hope to learn some new techniques and meet some new friends while I am there. I will post some pictures once I get back.

Doctors visit

I went to the doctor Monday just to find out more bad news. He took all kinds of bloodwork and called me two days later to give me the results. I am B-12 deficient, and my thyroid is not working properly. On top of that I told him about the burning and tingling in my hands and feet. He tested my relfexes and of course, they were not good. He said that I have neuropathy so he changed my depression meds because the new one also is good for neuropathy. I have to start 2 new meds today and then change one of my old meds. It never fails when it comes to my health. I am a walking disaster waiting to happen.

Motorcycle lessons

I took my motorcycle lessons Sept. 14-15th and had a blast. It was the first time I had ever drove a motorcycle. I passed the written test, but unfortunately I failed the driving test. Shhh........don't tell no one. lol Here are some pics of me driving during my class. I made my dh come up there to take some pics of me. I had a blast, but was sore as heck for the next couple of days afterwards. I am not used to straddling something for that long and for two days straight. lol

Birthday present

Today is my birthday and I got one of the best presents ever. I have been going through this stage in my life and I want a Harley Davidson. My husband bought me a model of a Harley that is about 3 x 3 and he also bought me riding lessons so I can learn how to ride a motorcycle. So after next weekend I will have my license to drive a two-wheeler. lol He has actually agreed to look at a motorcylcle for me, but he did say we couldn't afford a Harley right now.

In my Honest Opinion

Teenagers are such "Drama Queens"!!! I so truly believe this statement. I have a 12, and a 13 y/o girl at home. My oldest acts like such a brat when she doesn't get her way. So anyways, I have my second challenge done for the "Who am I" journal on Scrap in Style message board.

Labor Day Plans

I plan to stay home and scrapbook and organize my office. My Dh will be working all day so I should be able to get plenty done. I sure do miss the good ole' family cookouts. Neither my husband nor me have any family around and it just isn't the same doing it just for us. My kids always go to their dads for the holidays. I don't mind letting them go because my husband always works on holidays. I will post tomorrow and show what I get done.

Crazy child

My crazy child, Tayla, was letting my dog drink orange pop out of her glass. She said it is her favorite drink.

I can't believe her. She even lets the dog kiss her in the mouth. She is disgusting.
